My client is seeking to recruit a Collibra Data Integration Engineer on an initial 6-month contract for a Banking client based in London (hybrid, 3 days pw onsite).
Role Purpose: Supporting the Data Office in implementing Data Governance for the important business services and ensuring that the capture of all policies, procedures, standards, technical and logical metadata, data lineage, and governance is complete and represented in Collibra or Collibra Data Quality as required.
Role Tasks:
- The Collibra Integration Engineer will work closely with the Data Governance Analysts and IT teams to capture and maintain the technical assets within Collibra e.g. Data Lineage and Physical Data Mappings to Logical.
- Liaising and communicating across all functions i.e. Data Office, Application Teams, ETL Teams, DBAs and other Project and IT Teams to ensure Prerequisites for Data Sources are met, managed, and configured.
- Designing and implementing advanced data governance solutions using the Collibra DIP/CDQ platform.
- Understanding and analysing stakeholders' data governance needs and challenges.
- Enabling efficient data lineage and metadata management within the Collibra platform.
- Configuring and running EDGE and Lineage Harvester to access different datastores to generate physical and lineage assets.
- Having the ability to establish consistent contact with all teams to provide updates, to stay on track and to report risks and issues in a timely manner.
