I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-established market leader based in Chorley, who are looking for a reliable and organised Laboratory Administrator to support their busy laboratory operation. This is a hands-on, varied role supporting the lab team with order processing, sample handling and dispatch, as well as maintaining a clean, well-organised working area. Ideal for someone with great attention to detail, strong computer skills, and a flexible approach to work.
The Role:
- Manage the laboratory order system, accurately processing requests
- Pick and pack samples for testing and customer dispatch
- Book couriers and prepare shipments
- Maintain lab and storeroom housekeeping - cleanliness, organisation and restocking
- Support the wider lab team with general administrative and coordination tasks
