The Role
As Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Chasing overdue invoices via phone and email
- Managing and reducing the aged debt ledger
- Monitoring customer credit limits and payment performance
- Reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Liaising with internal teams including project managers and commercial departments regarding payment queries
- Negotiating payment plans and resolving disputes professionally
- Preparing aged debtor reports and cash collection forecasts
- Escalating high-risk or overdue accounts where appropriate
- Maintaining accurate records of all communications and collection activity
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and policies

Essential:
