Our Customer Service Gateline Assistants provide a first-class service to passengers while ensuring their safety at all times.
Location: Cheltenham Station
Contract: Immediate start, ongoing temporary role
Pay: £13.45 per hour initially, £15.26 per hour after submission of 12 timesheets
Hours: Ad hoc shifts offered on a weekly basis. Varied 5 - 8-hour shifts between 05:45 and 19:00. Typically 1-2 shifts per week. Zero-hours contract.
Please note: Due to the early start time of 05:00 AM, applicants must be local to Cheltenham or have access to reliable transport to arrive on time. This role would particularly suit someone seeking part-time, flexible work.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver excellent customer service to all passengers.
- Manage passenger flow and queues through the station.
- Check tickets and ensure passengers are travelling with a valid ticket.
- Direct customers to the correct train and platform.
- Operate ticket gates safely and effectively.
