Are you passionate about food and customer service? We are looking for a friendly and reliable Food Service Assistant to join our catering team. You will help prepare and serve meals, maintain high hygiene standards, and support the smooth running of kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and service, including breakfasts, salads, and buffets
- Ensure food quality, portion control, and temperature standards
- Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
- Handle stock deliveries and assist with stock control
- Operate vending/coffee machines and handle payments
- Support promotional catering events
- Follow food hygiene, health & safety, and COSHH regulations
What We Are Looking For:
- Level 2 Food Hygiene & Safety qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in a busy kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including occasional out-of-hours events
- Full UK manual driving licence preferred
