Manufacturing Engineer
Carlisle
Full Time, Monday to Friday
Up to £43,000 per annum, with flexibility for the right candidate following probation
Adecco Workington are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a successful and growing engineering business based in Carlisle.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineering professional to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you will play a key role in supporting production processes, improving systems and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting manufacturing systems and engineering processes
- Creating and maintaining bills of materials and shop orders
- Assisting with production planning and technical documentation
- Working closely with design, production and purchasing teams
- Supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
- Managing engineering data and system updates
- Assisting with inventory and manufacturing process control
Qualifications
- Previous experience within manufacturing or engineering environments
- Experience using ERP or PMRP systems such as SAP, IFS or similar
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively across multiple departments
- A proactive and positive approach to work
