We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant on behalf of our client based in central Cambridge! We are looking for someone with prior experience in a manual role, Carpentry, Plumbing with great customer service skills!
Salary: £32-34k (DOE)
Hours: 08:00pm-17:00pm Mon-Fri (1 in 5 Saturdays)
Job Description: Within the role you will be tasked with providing maintenance and repairs to accommodation, whilst being located on the front service desk handling incoming enquiries.
Some of the types of Maintenance can include:
- Painting (mainly refreshing)
- Room check outs
- General joinery - checking doors/hinges
- Cleaning and checking of shower heads
- General room maintenance
- Undertake regular building patrols to identify any maintenance requirements or Health and Safety risks
- Silicone sealing, diagnosing any bathroom issues.
What we are looking for?
- Brilliant communication and customer service skills.
- Previous Carpentry or Plumbing experience.
- Extensive experience working with a range of tools.
- Good knowledge of H&S practices.
