Our client in LE11 are looking for a Buyer to join their team. If you have experience in purchasing and inventory management in a distribution/manufacturing environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! As a Buyer, you will be responsible for managing a number of portfolio of products and suppliers. Your duties will include optimising customer satisfaction and service levels, managing inventory plans and purchase orders, and improving supplier delivery performance. Hours: Monday – Friday 9am-5pm Pay rate: £15.91 per hour(around 30k per annum) Long term Temp to Perm opportunity Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of products and suppliers. Optimise customer satisfaction and inventory investment by effectively managing the inventory plan and purchase order process. Identify problems, analyse data, and make accurate decisions to drive operational efficiency. Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Track shipments of purchase orders and take necessary actions in case of delays.
