About the Role:

As a Buyer, you will be at the heart of our procurement activities, collaborating with various stakeholders to source a range of indirect products and services. This role offers the opportunity to establish and maintain vital supplier relationships while driving commercial success through strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage procurement activities for a portfolio of indirect products and services, ensuring alignment with budget holders for optimal cost and time efficiency.
Lead tender processes to select suppliers based on capability, cost, quality, and sustainability, while leveraging synergies across the organisation.
Engage with stakeholders early in the process to foster cost discipline and strategic planning.
Achieve key performance metrics, including budget reductions and adherence to procurement processes.
Represent the Procurement department in cross-functional meetings, advocating for compliance and recommending improvements for enhanced efficiency.Skills and Experience:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

Proven experience in purchasing, with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation abilities.
A solid understanding of purchasing dynamics.
