Duration: Immediate start - End of August (Temporary Contract)

Hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our client based in Burgess Hill on a temporary basis until the end of August. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for short-term work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out multi-drop or scheduled deliveries safely and efficiently
  • Perform vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is roadworthy before each shift
  • Load and unload goods where required
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain high standards of customer service when interacting with clients
  • Complete relevant paperwork and delivery records

You will be required on a couple of days a week to travel to North London. 3 Days a week Class 2, on the other 2 days they would be out in a van/lorry doing multi drop delivery could be up to 15/20 drops a day.

Requirements

  • Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
  • Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
  • Good knowledge of driver hours and regulations
  • Strong reliability and timekeeping
  • Physically fit, as some manual handling may be required
