We're currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and growing warehouse operation in Melton. This role is focused on picking, packing and order fulfilment, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in accuracy and efficiency.
We have opportunities available on either:
- Late Shift: 1:00pm - 10:00pm (Monday to Friday)
- Permanent Nights: 10:00pm - 6:00am (Monday to Friday)
The Role
- Picking customer orders accurately using pick sheets or scanners
- Packing products safely and efficiently ready for dispatch
- Labelling, wrapping and preparing goods for shipment
- Checking stock for quality and accuracy
- Loading and unloading deliveries when required
- Maintaining housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse
- Working to daily targets and deadlines
- Following all health & safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
- Experience of picking and packing would be advantageous
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
