Are you an experienced Production Operative or Machine Operative looking for your next opportunity within a busy manufacturing environment? We are recruiting for reliable and technically minded individuals to join a well-established manufacturing business in Gilberdyke. This role will involve operating blending and packaging machinery, monitoring production processes, carrying out quality checks, and ensuring products are manufactured safely and efficiently.

This is a hands-on role suited to candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment and take pride in maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating and monitoring production and blending machinery
  • Measuring and loading raw materials into production equipment
  • Ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved
  • Carrying out visual quality inspections and process checks
  • Preparing packaging materials and supporting packing operations
  • Completing production documentation accurately
  • Working closely with colleagues to maintain efficient workflow
  • Supporting stock movement and general warehouse activities when required
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards
  • Assisting with equipment changeovers and basic fault reporting
About You
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, machine operating, or packaging environment
  • Technically minded with a willingness to learn new processes
  • Good attention to detail and quality standards
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable working on your feet and undertaking manual handling duties
  • FLT experience would be advantageous but is not essential
Shift Options & Pay Rates
  • Day Shift Option 1: Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm £14.00 per hour
  • Day Shift Option 2: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm £14.00 per hour
  • Continental Shift Pattern: Week 1: 6:00am - 6:00pm (60 hours), Week 2: 24 hours £15.50 per hour
