About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse & Customer Service Coordinator on behalf of our client. This is a varied role combining warehouse operations, customer service, administration, and regular use of a company van for local deliveries and collections. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across both warehouse and office environments while delivering excellent customer service and ensuring products are delivered safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Duties
- Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders.
- Loading and unloading deliveries.
- Receiving and booking in stock.
- Conducting stock checks and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe.
- Assisting with general warehouse operations as required.
- Customer Service & Administration
- Handling customer enquiries via phone and email.
- Processing orders and updating internal systems.
- Providing customers with order updates and delivery information.
- Preparing delivery paperwork and documentation.
- General administrative support to the wider team.
- Van Driving Duties
- Driving a company van to complete local deliveries and collections.
- Ensuring goods are transported safely and securely.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
- Providing a professional and courteous service to customers.
- Assisting with loading and unloading when required.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Previous van driving experience.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Good administration and IT skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workloads.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
Desirable
- Experience using stock control systems.
- Forklift licence.
- Previous experience in a logistics, warehouse, or distribution environment.
