Summary:
Provide PLM process and Siemens Teamcenter system support for Defence programmes, including planning, deployment, configuration, testing and capability enhancements for Teamcenter (Active Workspace and Desktop). Deliver end-user training and L1-L3 support (access control, ticket triage, issue resolution and vendor/infrastructure escalation); maintain system access, configuration control, reporting dashboards, user documentation and web content; and compile, analyse and report data to demonstrate regulatory, contractual and configuration compliance.
Job Description:
We are looking for a PLM Process & System Specialist based in Bristol, United Kingdom. The person is required to provide PLM system support and guidance to programmes. The role will include but not be limited to:
- Support the planning and deployment of Siemens Teamcenter Product Data Management System.
- Deliver Training of Siemens Teamcenter Product Data Management System to end users and stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of standardised PLM system and process throughout the organisation.
- Provide access control and user account administration (role-based access and audits).
- Operate L1-L3 Support:
- L1: Service desk - access requests, ticket triage and initial troubleshooting
- L2: Teamcenter PLM Engineer - system training delivery, issue resolution, integration error investigation, and process queries
- L3: Escalation to platform vendors or infrastructure teams as required
Qualifications (Experience/Education/Skills):
- Skilled in the use of Siemens Teamcenter, in both Active Workspace and the Desk Top Application.
- A good knowledge of PLM and Design principles and processes.
- Experience in or support of configuration & data management, design, test and manufacturing procedures.
- Good interpersonal, facilitation and problem-solving skills.
- Able to establish effective internal networks.
- High attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and electronic - across all levels.
- Ability to plan and deliver own workload.
Other: SC level clearance is required for this role.
