Temporary Finance Administrator
Location: Stockport
Duration: Approximately 6 Weeks
Salary: £13.50ph - £15ph
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and matching supplier invoices within the finance system.
- Reviewing and validating supplier charges, ensuring accuracy against supporting documentation.
- Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and supplier queries.
- Completing regular supplier account reconciliations.
- Assisting with the preparation and processing of supplier payments.
- Monitoring and administering petty cash transactions.
- Generating and distributing customer account statements.
- Uploading customer invoices to online customer portals.
- Supporting credit control activities and following up outstanding payments.
- Processing daily banking transactions and maintaining accurate records.
- Completing daily bank reconciliations and investigating any variances.
- Managing company credit card expenditure and associated reporting.
- Maintaining expense records and ensuring transactions are accurately accounted for.
- Managing the accounts email inbox and responding to finance-related enquiries.
- Providing general finance and administrative support as required.
About You
- Previous experience within a Finance Administrator, Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger or similar finance role.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting processes and financial administration.
- Experience using accounting software, with Microsoft Business Central being highly desirable.
- Good Excel and general IT skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.
