Are you an experienced and skilled Electrical Wireman looking for a new opportunity? Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation in the industry, is seeking a talented individual to join their team. With a focus on mechanical and electrical assembly and testing, this role offers a dynamic environment and the potential for new product development. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and test distribution and MCCB panels to industry standards.
- Work from technical electrical CAD drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure component quantity and quality before each job.
- Assemble wiring loom kits using various tools.
- Conduct electrical testing, fault finding, and resolution.
- Produce test certificates.
- Work with limited supervision and initiative.
- Meet customer despatch dates.
- Maintain manufacturing records and ensure quality control.
- Maintain a safe working environment and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Support management with any additional duties as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical electrical CAD drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Hours: The hours are 7:25 - 4:30pm Mon - Thurs and 7:30 - 1:10pm on a Friday.
Location: Braintree
This is a temporary position with the aim to move to a permanent contract after 3 months.
