The Role
As a Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and quality inspection of a wide range of dental and hairdressing equipment. Working as part of a skilled workshop team, you will ensure products are built to the highest standards before being dispatched to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and electrical equipment from start to finish.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Carry out testing, inspections, and adjustments to ensure product functionality and quality standards are met.
- Complete production, quality control, and testing documentation accurately.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
- Identify and report faults, defects, or discrepancies to management.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets and deadlines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.

About You
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly.
- Apprenticeship or vocational qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Competent using hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical test equipment such as multimeters.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out hands-on workshop duties.
