MIG Welder / Fabricator / Repair Technician (Temporary 6-8 Week Assignment)
Location: Bourne
Pay Rate: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract: Temporary (6-8 weeks)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm
The Role
We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator / Repair Technician to join our clients team on a temporary basis for approximately 6-8 weeks to support a busy workload and holiday cover requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, cutting, repairing, and fabricating wearing parts used on agricultural machinery, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- MIG welding on agricultural machinery components
- Cutting and fabricating replacement and wearing parts
- Repairing damaged machinery components and equipment
- Reading and working from drawings where required
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
- Carrying out quality checks on completed work
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in MIG welding and fabrication
- Experience repairing machinery or heavy equipment is desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a workshop environment
PPE
Candidates who have their own:
- Welding helmet/headpiece
- Safety boots
would be preferred; however, all other required PPE and equipment will be provided by Agri Linc.
Working Hours & Pay
- Monday to Friday
- Start time: 7:30am
- Finish time: 5:00pm
- 1-hour unpaid lunch break
- Typical working day: 8-9 hours
- £15.00 - £16.00 per hour, dependent on experience
