The Maintenance Technician will support manufacturing operations by improving the efficiency and reliability of production equipment through proactive planned maintenance and reactive breakdown support. The role involves maintaining mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems while ensuring minimal downtime and high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and machine failures
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical/electronic and pneumatic faults
- Support TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities
- Ensure calibration and maintenance schedules are completed
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and records
- Develop maintenance work instructions and troubleshooting guides
- Work closely with production and engineering teams
- Coordinate external suppliers and contractors where required
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations
- Maintenance engineering experience within manufacturing or production
