About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance Driver to join a busy distribution environment within the tyre and automotive sector. This role involves supporting warehouse operations, ensuring stock is handled efficiently and safely, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading deliveries using a counterbalance forklift
- Safely moving and storing stock within the warehouse
- Picking and packing orders accurately in line with customer requirements
- Preparing goods for dispatch, including labelling and wrapping
- Checking deliveries against paperwork and reporting discrepancies
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse experience, ideally within a fast-paced environment
- Experience with loading, unloading, picking, and packing
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
