Job Title: System Development Lead Location: Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester, Cardiff, Swindon, Nottingham Work Model: Hybrid Contract Type: Permanent Industry: Government and Public Sector Client: Government Property Agency Salary: £58,478 to £64,743 SC Clearance Required Experience & Technical Skills Essential criteria: ● Technical Expertise: ○ Extensive experience with digital platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Planon IWMS, Dynamics 365 Business Central, and Microsoft 365, with proven success in deploying mobile and AI-driven enhancements. ○ Strong knowledge of data integration, APIs, and platform governance frameworks, with experience working within an established Data Integration Layer environment. ○ Demonstrated expertise in robotic process automation, as well as low-code/no-code development using Power Apps and Power Platforms. ● Agile & SDLC Proficiency: ○ Proven track record in agile methodologies and managing the complete SDLC lifecycle, with a focus on iterative development and comprehensive technical documentation. ○ Experience in strategic planning and executing a multi-year technology roadmap. ● User Experience & Accessibility: ○ Demonstrated ability to implement user-centered design and product-centric approaches as per Service Standard that ensure compliance with other standards like accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG). ● Leadership & Management: ○ Prior experience in line management, team leadership, and mentoring, with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Desirable criteria: ● Government Standards, Frameworks ○ Knowledge of various government standards such as GovS:005 Digital, DDaT Playbook, Technology Code of Practice (TCoP) ○ Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance. ● Data Analytics and Business Intelligence: ○ Experience with data analytics tools and methodologies to derive insights from system data. ○ Ability to translate data insights into actionable improvements for digital platforms. ● DevOps and CI/CD: ○ Understanding of DevOps principles and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance development and deployment processes.
