Place of Employment: Mobile Worker - You will be required to travel to various locations across the UK as necessary for the proper performance of your duties.

Salary: £12.21 - £13.00 per hour (£25,396 - £27,040 per annum)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

Summary of Duties: To assist with boiler, plumbing, and drainage installations, maintenance, and repairs across domestic and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality performance and service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist with diagnosing plumbing issues and supporting the team in delivering effective solutions.
  • Work alongside experienced plumbers and team leaders to learn techniques and industry best practices.
  • Carry out responsive maintenance, servicing, and repairs to plumbing systems, pipework, and fixtures as instructed.
  • Protect clients' property and furnishings at all times.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with current regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
  • Comply with all site-specific rules and regulations.
  • Follow a cost-effective approach when sourcing materials.
  • Keep all mandatory training up to date and undertake additional training as required.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation and return daily task information promptly.
  • When provided with a company vehicle, ensure it is used responsibly and in line with company policies.
  • Maintain all company property - including vehicle, uniform, tools, and equipment - in good working order.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, the employee handbook, and all Health & Safety requirements.

Person Specification:

  • Essential
  • Minimum 1 year of plumbing experience, preferably within the commercial sector.
  • Strong awareness of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
  • High level of motivation, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable, including willingness to travel across the West Midlands and further when required.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed (paid at overtime rates).
  • Professional, positive attitude when dealing with customers and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to undertake further training and development.
  • Effective communication skills with tenants, clients, and members of the public.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.

Qualifications Required:

  • Completed recognised plumbing apprenticeship and/or NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing.
  • City & Guilds Plumbing qualification (or equivalent).
