Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Coordinate with production, quality control, and customer service to align dispatch schedules.
- Oversee packaging and labelling processes to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with courier and freight providers to optimise delivery routes and costs.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery notes, and tracking information.
- Implement and monitor KPIs for dispatch performance and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001:2015 standards and health & safety regulations.
- Lead, train, and motivate the dispatch team to maintain high performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a dispatch, logistics, or warehouse role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with barcode systems and inventory software.
- Knowledge of transport regulations and logistics best practices.
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
