The Role
We are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience operating CNC machinery in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating CNC machines in line with production requirements
- Loading and unloading materials and components
- Monitoring machine operations and making basic offsets/adjustments
- Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment (verniers, callipers, micrometers)
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Reporting faults or issues to supervisors
Requirements
- Previous experience as a CNC Operator (lathe or mill)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Basic understanding of CNC controls (Fanuc / Heidenhain - beneficial)
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
