CNC Miller & Turner 📍 Location: Dudley, West Midlands 🕒 Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm 💰 Overtime Available About the Role We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller & Turner to join a well-established precision engineering and manufacturing business in Dudley. Working within a modern machine shop, you will be responsible for the programming, setting, and operation of CNC milling and turning machines, producing high-quality precision components for a range of engineering sectors. The company offers extensive machining capabilities, modern tooling, and a quality-focused manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Set, operate, and where required, program CNC milling and turning machines. Manufacture precision-engineered components to customer drawings and specifications. Work with a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and specialist alloys. Conduct first-off inspections and carry out in-process quality checks. Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and tolerances. Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining methods. Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and productivity. Ensure machines and work areas are kept clean, safe, and organised. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the machining department. Work collaboratively with colleagues across manufacturing, fabrication, and inspection teams. Requirements Previous experience as a CNC Miller, CNC Turner, or CNC Machinist. Ability to program, set, and operate CNC machinery. Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing. Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges. Knowledge of Heidenhain, Fanuc, or similar CNC control systems would be advantageous. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to producing high-quality work to tight tolerances.
