We are supporting a leading global healthcare diagnostics organisation in the search for a Near Patient Care (NPC) Sales Specialist to cover the Midlands region on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role sits within a growing Near Patient Care portfolio, focused on point-of-care diagnostics, digital solutions, and diabetes products that enable faster, more effective patient care closer to home.
The role:
- As a Near Patient Care Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering the commercial strategy across a portfolio of near patient care and digital diagnostic solutions.
- You will work closely with NHS stakeholders across primary, community, and secondary care, building trusted relationships and supporting the adoption of innovative healthcare solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver commercial objectives for near patient care products and digital solutions
- Build and manage strong relationships with clinical and non-clinical NHS stakeholders
- Identify and develop opportunities across the Midlands territory
- Support and train healthcare professionals in the effective use of solutions
- Navigate NHS structures, funding pathways, procurement, and tendering processes
- Act as a trusted partner, influencing uptake through education and collaboration
About you:
- Previous sales experience within healthcare (point-of-care or diagnostics experience preferred)
- Comfortable working in a field-based, fast-paced NHS environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of NHS structures, market access, or procurement processes
- Degree educated (life sciences or nursing preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
