We are looking for an organised, proactive Placements Administration Officer to provide high-quality administrative support for undergraduate student placements. This is a key role supporting placement allocation, strong external partnerships, accurate data management, and the effective delivery of Lifelong Learning activity.
About the Role
In this role, you will support the smooth running of undergraduate placements by working closely with students, academic staff, external placement providers, and College teams. You'll ensure processes are efficient, data is accurate, and activity complies with College policies and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for the allocation and management of undergraduate student placements
- Liaise with external placement providers to secure placements and resolve issues within set timescales
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate annual and future placement activity
- Maintain accurate placement, assessor, and visit records using College management information systems
- Support students and staff by providing guidance on placement processes and requirements
- Monitor placement quality assurance, ensuring reports and marks are received, recorded, and submitted to Boards of Examiners
- Maintain placement-related web and intranet content
- Manage student communications, surveys, and placement-related data
- Produce routine placement data and management reports
- Work closely with academic staff, College teams, and software providers to support placement delivery and system improvements
General Duties
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, Data Protection, Information Security, and College policies
- Maintain accurate records and support audits, reviews, and inspections
- Manage workload effectively, prioritising competing demands and using initiative
- Contribute positively to team working, meetings, and continuous improvement of processes
- Support College-wide and role-related events as required
- Undertake other duties appropriate to Grade 5
