We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Process Packing Operative to join our clients production team. This role is responsible for the preparation, stock control, and dispatch of specialist products within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Shift Pattern
This role operates on a rotating 4-week shift pattern, combining both day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Mill, blend, and pack product to produce finished goods to specification
- Carry out regular stock checks and maintain accurate stock records
- Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with documented work instructions
- Complete packaging documentation and production records (including SAP entries)
- Support batching processes and spray dryer operations
- Comply with weight, measure, and quality standards
- Contribute to achieving departmental KPIs
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Education
- Basic Maths and English
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
Experience (Desirable)
- Experience in dispatch or stock control
- Previous work in a food manufacturing or hygiene-controlled environment
Physical Requirements
- Good manual dexterity
- Able to undertake manual handling
- No respiratory sensitivities (due to powder handling environment)
