Adecco are currently recruiting for Street Homeless Service Coordinators to support a dynamic and impactful homelessness service based at a specialist Rough Sleepers Hub in South West London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in tackling homelessness and supporting vulnerable individuals to access safe and sustainable housing.
About the Role
Working within a dedicated Street Homeless Assessment Hub, you will engage directly with individuals who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. You will deliver a responsive, trauma-informed service, helping people navigate housing pathways and access the support they need.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage and support individuals experiencing or at risk of street homelessness
- Carry out assessments and provide tailored housing advice and solutions
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver joined-up support
- Manage a caseload and support individuals into appropriate accommodation pathways
- Provide a compassionate, person-centred approach at all times
Essential Skills & Experience
- Understanding of street homelessness and the Homelessness Reduction Act
- Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or rough sleepers
- Strong empathy and commitment to supporting homeless communities
- Background in housing services, homelessness, or casework
- Experience managing caseloads and working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
