Our Customer Service Assistants provide a first‑class service to our passengers while ensuring their safety at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively operate the gates ensuring the safety of all who pass through them.
- Deliver excellent customer service by responding to customer enquiries as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Report any incidents and undertake measures to ensure the safety of the station.
- Undertake ticket checks and pass any irregularities to Revenue Protection.
- Wear uniform and I.D badge when working on shift and traveling to and from that shift.
- Additional duties may include bus replacement, crowd control and ticket checking.
You will receive an ID badge that allows free travel on board the client’s lines, to and from shifts. This badge enables you to work at multiple stations within the Region, thereby opening up more shift opportunities.
Basic Requirements:
- Good written and verbal English
- Clear DBS checks
- Adherence to Adecco Rail Drug and Alcohol policy
- Well‑presented and willing to adhere to Adecco Rail uniform standards
- Ability to work across a number of stations within the Region including Basingstoke, Fleet, Farnborough, Winchester and Woking.
The training event is scheduled for 20 February and you must be able to attend in Portsmouth.
Pay: £12.21
Hours: Varied and flexible Monday – Sunday, 6 am is the earliest start and midnight is the latest finish.
Duration: ASAP – On‑going contract
