We're partnering with a values‐led education provider to hire a proactive HR Adviser who will support leaders and staff across multiple campuses. What you'll do
- Provide clear, compassionate advice on employee relations (conduct, capability, grievances, performance, absence).
- Track and process probations, absences, payroll/contract changes, and support operational HR activity.
- Support change initiatives, organisation design, and engagement projects with the HRBP.
- Champion wellbeing (train as a Mental Health First Aider) and safeguarding (act as/designate Child Protection Officer).
- Build trusted relationships with managers and present HR updates and insights at all levels.
- Keep policies compliant, promote EDI, and help drive continuous improvement across HR.
What you'll bring
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent HR qualification) and 4+ years' generalist HR experience.
- Proven ER casework experience in a fast‐paced setting.
- Solid grasp of UK employment law and core HR processes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and sound judgement.
- Organised, solutions‐focused, discrete - able to juggle priorities.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Willing to complete Enhanced DBS, train as MHFA and Safeguarding/Child Protection Officer.
Nice to have: Education sector experience and familiarity with safeguarding processes.
