Overview
My Aylesbury based client is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to join their busy and welcoming team. This is a full‑time, Monday to Friday, day‑shift position. This role involves multi‑drop deliveries within a 40‑mile radius of Aylesbury, working closely with a small, supportive team of drivers. The client is looking for someone who is customer‑focused, motivated, and dependable, with a strong commitment to providing an excellent level of service.
Hours & Pay
- £14.50 per hour
- Monday to Friday 6:30am until 4:30pm
- Day shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all loads are safe, secure, and organised in drop order.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain the vehicle to a high standard.
- Operate safely at all times and follow all relevant driving legislation.
- Deliver goods efficiently, meeting customer expectations and resolving any issues professionally.
- Return to the depot promptly after deliveries to assist with additional runs or tasks.
- Follow company procedures to ensure materials are unloaded and distributed efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety at all times.
- Represent the business with a positive, customer‑centric attitude and support continuous improvement.
