Role
:
As a Lighting Electronics Developer/System Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering series and prototype Automotive Lighting electronics and software solutions for Bentley projects. You will work closely with the Functional Manager – Lighting and collaborate with Group counterparts to develop innovative Exterior lighting solutions. Your responsibilities will include defining and developing electrical system SW and functional requirements, coordinating software releases, conducting validation testing, and providing support to key business customers.
About the Person:
To excel in this role, you should bring previous experience as an Automotive Lighting Electronics/System Integration engineer. You should be a strong communicator, able to work independently and autonomously. Flexibility to travel extensively to Germany is required. A degree in automotive electronics, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent experience is desired. Experience with vehicle communications/architecture networks and diagnostic tools would be advantageous. And of course, a full driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and develop electrical system SW and functional requirements
Collaborate with Group counterparts to develop customer functions
Manage software releases in accordance with calibration maturity and build timing
Coordinate and execute validation testing
Support key business customers and resolve vehicle concerns
Carry out feasibility and concept study activities
Project planning and implementation
Understand FuSi requirements and implementation
