Do you have experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)? Adecco are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse and distribution operation. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing shift operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and high service levels across all areas of the warehouse. Overview
You will support the Warehouse Manager in delivering efficient operations, taking responsibility for team performance, workflow planning, and maintaining high operational standards across your shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure productivity and accuracy
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of operatives to achieve performance targets
- Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and resource allocation
- Ensure accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of orders
- Support stock control activities, including cycle counts and stock takes
- Provide clear shift handovers and maintain strong communication across teams
- Deliver on-the-job training, coaching, and performance feedback
About You
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, procedures, and best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Confident delivering direct feedback and managing team performance
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Good understanding of warehouse health & safety regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Valid forklift licences - Counterbalance and Aisle Master (Flexi/Bendi)
