Key Responsibilities:- Staff Management:
- Supervise, motivate, and support a dedicated team of warehouse operatives daily.
- Assist in scheduling, task assignment, and performance monitoring.
- Help train and onboard new staff members.
- Uphold health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
- Monitor the use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet trucks).
- Support process improvements to drive efficiency and reduce errors.
- Act as the point of contact in the Warehouse Manager's absence.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or assistant management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good understanding of goods receiving, despatch processes, and stock control.
- Competent in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Forklift licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach) is necessary.
