About the Role:
Be part of a dynamic team that drives innovative projects essential for securing Britain\βs energy needs! As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the Project Manager in the replacement of control systems at our compressor stations-the vital components that ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering capital projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Manage health, safety, and environmental concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the design process, reviewing proposals for SHE management and project risks.
- Provide regular updates and monthly project status reports, including SHE performance, milestone progress, risk management, and financial forecasts.
- Collaborate with Site Supervisors and Design Coordinators to manage contractors and project teams effectively.
What We are Looking For:
Essential Skills:
- Effective communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A genuine willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Flexibility to travel and work away up to 5 days a week.
- A full UK driving license is required for travel to various sites.
Desirable Qualifications:
- HNC/HND Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in project management and/or an engineering discipline.
- Currently working towards NEC 4 accreditation and an APM qualification.
- Previous experience in the gas industry, particularly in control system replacement and/or control and instrumentation.
- Recognized training or qualifications in health, safety, and environmental management.
