Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:
- Consistently assemble products to a high quality standard within agreed timescales using SOPs.
- Carry out in process quality inspection.
- Ppack product as identified in the documentation.
- Read and understand documentation, including drawings, process and manufacturing instructions, and specifications.
- Operate relevant machinery, which may include semi-automated machinery.
- Support Health and Safety activities and escalation of issues to Team Leader or Management.
- Follow all Health and Safety legislation and use the Health and Safety equipment provided.
- Support with training and training documentation when needed.
- Support other areas of the business as demand dictates.
- Set up for assembly departments as required.
- Create and maintain test programs to support assembly departments as required.
- Create and maintain test lead and boxes to support assembly departments as required.
- Carry out such other duties that may be reasonably requested.
Experience and skills required for this position:
- Must have experience of soldering.
- Proven experience as an Assembly Technician or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail.
