Responsibilities:

As an Assembly Operative, you will:

  • Execute fast-paced assembly operations on various assemblies and sub-assemblies
  • Assemble parts, semi-products, or components according to detailed plans
  • utilise a limited number of specialised tools effectively
  • Conduct quality sight checks to ensure functionality

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience as a production operative, assembly operative, or in a shop floor setting
  • Skills in assisting with mechanical overhauls (disassembly and assembly)
  • Experience in failure and root cause analysis
  • Ability to perform necessary repairs and conduct quality checks to industry standards
  • Strong eye for detail and health & safety awareness
  • Motivation and a focus on quality-driven work
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Note: This position requires standing for extended periods

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

While not mandatory, the following are advantageous:

  • Additional certifications or training related to assembly operations
  • Experience in a similar role within the mobility or manufacturing sector
