We're looking for an experienced and motivated Laser Setter Operator to join a busy and successful manufacturing team based in Andover. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment where quality and teamwork are key.
What You'll Be Doing
- Setting and operating CNC laser cutting machines
- Loading materials using crane or forklift
- Producing high-quality laser-cut parts to specification
- Deburring and preparing parts ready for production
- Performing machine checks, maintenance, and fault reporting
- Supporting wider production when needed (press brake, assembly, fitting)
- Breaking out parts from laser beds
- Ensuring all work meets quality standards and production deadlines
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in laser setting/operation
- Forklift experience essential
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and job instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
Advantageous:
- Experience operating a Press Brake
- Forklift licence
- Full UK driving licence
