Role Overview
Our client is seeking 2-3 Upholstery Operatives to join their team on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity to support the Production Manager and work across multiple departments to assist in the manufacture of high-quality office furniture product lines. The role focuses on applying adhesive and fabric to surfaces, ensuring all finishes are straight, smooth, and free of air bubbles.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply adhesive evenly using a roller
- Accurately position and stick fabric onto surfaces
- Ensure all finishes are neat, smooth, and free of air bubbles
- Operate hand tools and production machinery (full training provided)
- Maintain high standards of quality and appearance
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous manufacturing or upholstery experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the finished product
