Warehouse Controller Location: Goole Pay Rate: £15.70 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (standard day shifts) Contract: Until March 2027 initially, with the possibility of extension Start Date: ASAP Looking for a stable, long-term warehouse role? We're recruiting for a Warehouse Controller to join a busy and well-established manufacturing site in Goole. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse, stores, stock control, or logistics experience who is looking for a long-term position with competitive pay and a great work-life balance. Unlike many warehouse roles, this position offers Monday to Friday day shifts, no rotating shifts, and the opportunity to build valuable experience within a leading manufacturing environment. What You'll Be Doing As a Warehouse Controller, you'll play a key role in keeping the operation running smoothly by ensuring materials and stock are available where and when they're needed. Your responsibilities will include: Receiving, booking in, and tracking materials and deliveries Monitoring stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory records Carrying out regular stock checks and cycle counts Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies Allocating and moving materials to support production requirements Coordinating deliveries with suppliers and internal departments Updating stock information using warehouse management systems Supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse and stores function What We're Looking For We're interested in candidates with experience in: Warehouse Operations Stock Control Stores/Warehouse Administration Goods In & Goods Out Logistics and Materials HandlingYou'll also have: Good attention to detail Basic computer skills Confidence using warehouse or stock management systems Strong organisational skills A proactive and reliable approach to work The ability to work independently and as part of a teamPrevious experience in a warehouse, stores, stock control, or logistics environment is highly desirable.
