Overview of the role
The role of H&S Advisor supports Services Projects and Depots to verify all necessary controls are in place and provide support to the operational teams.
The role will involve carrying out SHE Inspections across varying Delivery Projects within but not limited to your geographic region.
The role feeds up into the wider SHE Delivery team, which forms part of the Operational SHE, Compliance & Emissions Team.
Key Accountabilities
- Carry out SHE Inspections of Services Projects
- Undertake Inspections to support ongoing certification, primarily at aligned Depots.
- Being a self-starter with autonomy for your working week, delivering against measured indicators, whilst adapting to suit the demands and time-pressures associated with the business.
- Identify gaps and non-compliances with internal and external requirements.
- Provide advice and guidance to operational colleagues.
- Challenge, as part of a team, existing ways of working and develop solutions to deliver increased performance in your area of expertise.
- Support the SHE Plans
Experience, Knowledge and Technical Know How
- NEBOSH Certificate
- Experience in construction or Utilities Projects
- Knowledge of current legislation, and an ability to interpret and apply applicable to the situation, audience, and outputs.
