Accounts Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a critical short-term finance role with one of our clients!! The client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running in a finance department that needs immediate support. The role is focused on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and they need someone with hands-on experience in both areas, ideally within a company setting (manufacturing experience is a bonus, but not essential). Here are the key points: Contract until end of September Pay: £16.40 Days: Monday to Friday – – Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM – Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM Address: Birkenhead, Liverpool Immediate start Minimal settling-in period – they need someone who can get stuck in from day one Training provided on their legacy ARP system (25+ years old), but strong AP/AR knowledge is essential Strong negotiation skills are a must – some supplier relationships need rebuilding due to previous issuesAdecco aim to respond to all applicants, however due to the large volume of applications we receive this may not always be possible.
