Are you an experienced finance professional looking for a short-term opportunity to make an impact? We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team on a 10-week temporary assignment in Widnes.

Role Details:

  • Location: Widnes (fully office-based)
  • Duration: 10 weeks
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (1-hour lunch break, 35 hours per week)
  • Pay Rate: £14.84 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input financial transactions and maintain accurate records
  • Process supplier invoices, payments, and expense reports
  • Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet schedules
  • Support month-end activities and journal entries
  • Assist with financial data entry and administrative tasks

  • Proven experience in a finance role - essential
  • Ideally, experience across multiple areas of finance
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
