As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Ensure customer invoices and credit notes are accurately processed in line with company procedures.
Allocate customer payments and maintain precise account reconciliations.
Handle supplier purchase invoices with the correct coding and necessary authorisations.
Reconcile supplier statements and swiftly resolve any discrepancies.
Assist in credit control by telephone chasing, monitoring outstanding balances, and addressing any related queries.
Be the go-to person for internal and external queries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
Provide general administrative assistance to the finance team as required.What We\'re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
Previous experience in accounts administration or a similar finance role.
Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks (training will be provided).
A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
