About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role with a growing organisation following an initial temporary period. The position is varied and hands-on, combining general warehouse duties, forklift operation, and support with garment decoration processes such as heat sealing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with garment decoration, including heat sealing
  • Pick, pack, and prepare stock for internal use and customer dispatch
  • Drive the company vans to complete deliveries (this will only be sometimes)
  • Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
  • Operate a counterbalance forklift as required
  • Carry out general warehouse duties to support daily operations
  • Deliver stock using company vans when required
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and adhere to all health and safety procedures
  • Support the wider team in meeting operational targets and deadlines

Requirements

Essential:

  • Valid external Counterbalance Forklift licence
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Good understanding of health and safety within a warehouse environment
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Experience in garment decoration or heat sealing
  • Background in a retail or store-based warehouse environment
