We are currently recruiting for a Resident Services Assistant to join a busy and welcoming student accommodation team in Aberdeen. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a vibrant residential environment, supporting students and helping to create a positive community atmosphere. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone with a customer-focused background who enjoys working with people.
What You'll Be Doing
- As the face of the accommodation, you'll be the first point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors, ensuring a friendly and professional experience at all times.
- Managing the front reception desk and welcoming residents and visitors
- Handling incoming parcels, deliveries and post
- Responding to emails and general enquiries
- Providing day-to-day administrative support
- Updating the site's Instagram page with appropriate and engaging content
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of resident events and activities
- Supporting students with general enquiries and directing issues appropriately
- Carrying out ad hoc housekeeping and site support duties
- Helping to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for residents
What We're Looking For
- Enthusiastic, organised and enjoys delivering excellent customer service.
- Previous experience in customer service, reception, hospitality or administration
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team
- An interest in social media and community engagement
