Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and technically competent Management Accountant to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis that supports business performance, cost control, and operational insight. Acting as a crucial part of the finance function, you will work closely with commercial and operational teams to enhance financial processes in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary.
- Monitor KPIs and provide financial insights to improve operational efficiency.
- Perform margin analysis and cost control reviews.
- Support VAT and government reporting.
- Track inventory valuation and working capital with commercial teams.
- Maintain financial controls and assist with audit processes.
- Provide financial insight to support strategic projects.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified accountant with CIMA or ACCA (or equivalent).
- Line management experience desirable.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- ERP experience (e.g., JD Edwards) and BI tools (e.g., Tableau/Power BI).
- Financial reporting, control and analysis expertise.
- Excellent organisation, communication, and problem-solving ability.
- Adaptability and ability to work under pressure.
