Murex Business Analyst
Daily Rate: £500 – £600
Contract Length: 12 months
Location: Bishopsgate, City of London (5-minute walk from Liverpool Street station) 2 days onsite
Are you a seasoned Murex Business Analyst looking for an exciting opportunity to impact the financial services landscape? Our client is seeking a skilled individual to join their team for a 12 month contract focused on a Murex Migration Programme. This role is pivotal in enhancing customer journeys and optimising the end-to-end customer experience through collaboration and strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and product team to understand and measure customer journeys, ensuring a technology-driven approach to integration across functions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience, both internal and external, while keeping customer needs front and centre.
- Work closely with stakeholders across Product, Finance, Risk, Markets Operations, and Engineering to ensure user experiences and journey designs are effectively represented.
- Participate in agile set-ups, including writing and designing user stories, documenting requirements, and addressing functional challenges in design authority meetings.
- utilise insights to inform prioritisation and design choices within the feature team.
Must-Have Skills/Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years in the financial services sector.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Customer Journey Manager or Business Analyst, with a proven track record of engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) working with Murex in a business analyst role.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and tools, including Jira, with hands-on experience in writing user stories and documenting requirements.
- Solid understanding of capital markets, particularly treasury products and capabilities.
- Experience in large-scale, multi-year implementations.
Nice-to-Have Skills/Experience:
- Familiarity with migrating desks/products onto Murex using the MXpress methodology.
- In-depth knowledge of Interest Rates Swaps and/or money market products.
