Purpose of the Role: As the Maintenance Shift Supervisor, you will be the driving force behind a safe, efficient, and effective maintenance operation. You'll coordinate activities, provide technical guidance, and ensure compliance with industry standards while minimising downtime and maximising equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all maintenance practises adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practises.
  • Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct Toolbox Talks with your team to enhance safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with the Maintenance Manager, providing detailed reports.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and strive to enhance equipment reliability.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing process equipment.
  • Foster a clean and safe working environment while promoting safety compliance.
  • Lead and motivate your team to achieve collective goals, offering guidance and training as needed.
  • Participate in ISO and Ethical audits to ensure zero non-conformances.

Quality Assurance: Provide top-notch service to our customers by ensuring efficient and compliant processes. Collaborate with the Quality team to resolve customer issues and identify improvement opportunities.

Safety First: Make safety a priority! Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Document and follow up on accident investigations promptly.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Fabricating experience (desirable). Proven leadership skills and confident decision-making ability.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent). Recognised craft apprenticeship.
  • Skills: Strong communication and IT skills. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
